Η ομάδα του “lonelygirl15” μας παρουσιάζει το επόμενο project της, ένα διαδικτυακό event επιστημονικής φαντασίας που εκτός απο καθημερινά video θα έχει blog posts και φωτογραφίες.
Το story εχει να κάνει με μια ομάδα, την “The Resistance” που πολεμά τους “The Order”, μια μυστική κοινότητα πλασμάτων που κυνηγούν κορίτσια με συγκεκριμένο σπάνιο τύπο αίματος στους δρόμους της Santa Monica.

Η Jessica Rose που έγινε διάσημη μέσα απο τον χαρακτήρα της Bree aka Lonelygirl15 στο Youtube ξεκινάει μια νέα προσπάθεια. Με σκηνοθέτη τον Eduardo Rodriguez (Open Grave, Curandero, Daughter) θα φτιάξουν τη σειρά-θρίλερ Blood Cell που θα διανέμεται απο την 60Frames στα διάφορα συνεργαζόμενα video sites (π.χ. Youtube).
Για να μας δώσουν μια μικρή γεύση της ιστορίας που σύντομα θα ξεκινήσει οι παραγωγοί μας δίνουν την παρακάτω περίληψη και το ακόλουθο video trailer
3:30am (Los Angeles): Julia is jolted awake by the howl of her cellphone; a video message from her best friend, Susan. Her eyes are swollen from crying. Her upper lip shows a painful cut. And she’s scared to death. “I’ve been kidnapped… you can’t call the police… and don’t turn off your cell phone. He’ll kill me if you do… just wait for my next call and I’ll…” and as the shadowed figure of a dark, ominous man fills the frame, Susan screams and the message cuts out. Confused, Julia receives a text message from the kidnapper: “Dead Cell = Dead Friend.” A peaceful night turns into a race against time. Using her cellphone as her only lifeline, Julia must rescue her friend and avoid succumbing to a similarly gruesome fate.
